I've learnt the trick. Sometimes, I just had to perservere, to ignore his whinnings, all the way. But on these occasions, I make sure he's not hungry, sleepy or need a change, then he would give up, gets tired from sticking around you, and go play by himself.
Many times before, I've relented too quickly, not realizing that he could play by himself for longer periods. Once I've tried, I KNOW now, which is such a blessing, cos I could read and surf the longer. And with more training, I believe, he would know better too, 'that mummy needs time on her own, I'd better not disturb her now.'
We're still getting to know each other everyday.
