Nathan is exactly15mths old today. And what a day to have to visit the doctor!

I brought him to the chinese medical yesterday to pick up some herbs for myself, and got a brown powder mixture for him too, but apparently, didnt work well for him. Both of us were coughing so badly last night, sleep disturbed.

I woke up this morning, very determined to bring him to th doc at Mt A. Upon wakening, made an appt, and drove down. It was a wise decision. Though it was alaways quite nearly a hundred bucks each visit, somehow my heart is put at rest.

Poor boy, it's been harder to feed him the medicine. Used the stringe, but he would gurgle in his mouth and spit out the mixture, I wonder how much actually went in. How can I do this better? My darling, it's all my fault. Had a game of tennis with friends on Sat night, had someone else baby sit him, allowed him to walk barefooted round the court, it was an unusally cool night, I believed he must have caught the chill there. The usually strong boy couldn't fight that and gave in to the viral infection.

Thankfully, he's stil active, walking and crawling about, smiling, not eating very well though. And the fever hadn't struck him. That, I'm rather relived.
